  • Exceptions: post-closing seller possession agreements (deed filed within 5 days of closing), and legal non-conforming hotels, boarding houses, or rooming houses (Sections 266-14.1(C) and (F)).
  • Penalties: $250 to $5,000 fine per violation; each day is a separate offense; the village may also seek injunctions, damages, and attorney's fees; enforced by the Building Inspector, Code Enforcement, and Police.
